TMF Group is looking for an AI Engineer to join it's Pune location


Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain backend APIs and integrations using Python (e.g., FastAPI).
  • Build and support frontend components using Angular or React.
  • Design, implement, and monitor production-grade applications and processing pipelines.
  • Work extensively with Azure services such as Databricks, Azure Functions, App Services, Storage, and Networking.
  • Create and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps (preferred).
  • Implement automation scripts and deployment processes.
  • Use monitoring tools (Azure Monitor, Application Insights) to ensure application reliability and performance.
  • Optimize application performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure smooth production operations.
  • Write and maintain T‑SQL queries and ensure database efficiency.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with engineering, product, and data teams.
  • (Optional but advantageous) Utilize Azure AI tools when relevant to projects.

Key Requirements
  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience in Python development across backend (APIs, integrations) and frontend components.
  • Strong expertise with FastAPI, Angular/React, and modern development frameworks.
  • Proven experience building scalable, production-grade applications.
  • In‑depth understanding of Azure cloud services, specifically:
    • Databricks
    • Azure App Services
    • Azure Functions
    • Azure Storage
    • Azure Networking
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, preferably using Azure DevOps.
  • Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools: Azure Monitor, Application Insights.
  • Basic scripting skills in PowerShell or Bash.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving abilities.
  • T‑SQL proficiency is mandatory.
  • Familiarity with Azure AI tools is a plus.
