As an Accounting Associate, you will play a central role in delivering accurate, timely, and high‑quality accounting and tax services to a diverse portfolio of international clients. This position sits at the heart of our client service delivery model: you will work closely with senior colleagues, support statutory and management reporting, and ensure that all financial information is processed with precision and integrity. The role offers the opportunity to deepen your technical expertise, build strong client relationships, and contribute to continuous improvements within the team. It is an ideal next step for someone with solid accounting experience who is ready to take on broader responsibilities and grow within a global, fast‑paced environment.
- Supporting the delivery of accounting and tax services for assigned clients, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
- Maintaining strong client relationships and providing clear, professional communication.
- Verifying the accuracy and completeness of accounting information and maintaining proper documentation.
- Preparing accounting entries, primary documents, and supporting analyses for balance sheet accounts.
- Assisting in the preparation of financial statements, management reports, and other client‑required outputs.
- Supporting statutory and internal audits and ensuring compliance with deadlines and internal procedures.
- Handling cash management tasks, including bank account administration and payment instructions.
- Collaborating with internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery and adherence to risk controls.
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes and enhance efficiency.
- Supporting the onboarding and training of interns and junior team members.
The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, and client‑focused, with strong communication skills and a commitment to delivering high‑quality work. A proactive mindset, integrity, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team are essential.
Ideally, you meet the following criteria:
- A degree in Law, Business, Accounting, or a closely related field.
- 2–3 years of experience in an accounting firm or similar professional services environment.
- Willingness to work toward an accounting qualification.
- Strong problem‑solving abilities and the ability to work independently when needed.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong planning and organizational abilities.
- An analytical, structured approach with a focus on accuracy and consistency.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word; experience with Hyper Accounting or Pylon Accounting is preferred.
- Experience in a similar role with strong client service skills.
