The Accounting Manager in TMF Group will be responsible for:


Key Responsibilities
  • Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline

  • Holds a professional accountancy qualification

  • 3-5 years’ experience gained in either a financial reporting team or audit firm (preferably PERE but experience of other fund types is acceptable)

  • Detailed knowledge of and experience in fund accounting (preferably PERE but experience of other fund types is acceptable)

  • Extensive experience of financial statement preparation

  • Excellent knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP

  • Experience in operating an investment accounting system (preferably Investran but other systems are acceptable)

  • Have a good understanding of the transactions undertaken by alternative investment fund structures along with broader product and industry knowledge

  • Ability to learn quickly and work within a team under the guidance of a manager/mentor

  • People management experience desirable but not essential

  • Demonstrates the ability to make decisions based on insight and knowledge that impact the immediate team

  • Accountable for ensuring high standards of delivery to clients

  • Actively engages with customer to understand needs and will place a high priority on client service and satisfaction

  • Prioritizes clients’ issues and address them accordingly

  • Will keep up to date with business trends/ changes in law that will impact their role
