Discover the Role

The Accounting & Tax Associate will work closely with the Accounting & Tax team to deliver high-quality services to clients. This position reports to the Accounting & Tax Assistant Manager or any other person designated by the Employer.


Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain a full set of accounts for multiple clients, ensuring high standards of compliance and accuracy.
  • Prepare disbursement vouchers for payments.
  • Record journal entries for month-end financial reporting.
  • Prepare key financial reports, including:
    • Monthly Income Statement
    • Balance Sheet
    • Trial Balance
  • Handle tax filing and prepare other related financial documents.
  • Maintain strong client relationships and respond to client queries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Liaise regularly with clients to obtain documentation, information, and clarifications required for:
    • Management accounts preparation
    • Audit purposes
  • Ensure proper and timely filing of client documents to maintain an accurate audit trail.
  • Periodically update process documentation.
  • Liaise with external parties such as auditors, tax agents, bankers, and relevant authorities.
  • Update and maintain records in ViewPoint.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Key Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy.
  • Pursuing or holding a professional qualification (e.g., CPA license).
  • 2–3 years of relevant experience in general accounting within professional firms or multinational companies.
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • Local tax regulations (CIT, VAT, EWT, FWT, FBT)
    • Accounting standards (PFRS); knowledge of IFRS is an advantage
  • Experience in preparing financial statements and supporting schedules.
  • Familiarity with Xero or other ERP systems is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of local systems (e.g., ViewPoint).
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong command of written and spoken English and Filipino.
