The Application Management Department is responsible for the maintenance, support, and release management of key business systems in use across TMF Group, especially ViewPoint and GEM. Given the nature of TMF-Group’s business, a high availability rate and timely and adequate reactions to incidents, problems, and change requests are required.
The Application Support Team provides efficient consultancy and support services for business applications (focusing on ViewPoint) within agreed response times and service levels. The Application Support Team works closely with the support teams, business users of various offices, the internal development team, and software vendors to successfully resolve issues and requests. Change-related tasks will form a part of this role.
- Deliver a consistent, high-performing, reliable application consultancy and support to staff in all locations on the core business applications (mainly ViewPoint and GEM).
- Support business users with the creation of new (ViewPoint) automated forms and templates according to specifications, procedures, and group standards.
- Report errors and new required features to the development team or vendor.
- Contribute to the improvement and growth of the Application Management Department.
- Minimum 7 years of experience as a SQL developer or similar role.
- Exposure to any ERP application or understanding of finance terminology will be an added advantage.
- Excellent understanding of T-SQL programming.
- Excellent understanding of Microsoft SQL Server.
- Good knowledge of any programming language. It may be on VB, .Net, Java, C#, etc.
- Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services.
- Assistance on data analysis and related solutions.
- Develop, implement, and optimize stored procedures and functions using T-SQL.
- Review and interpret ongoing business report requirements.
- Can analyze and provide the required data.
- Build appropriate and useful reporting deliverables.
- Analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements.
- Develop procedures and scripts for data migration requests.
- Assist the team in gaining their knowledge on SQL queries.
- Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company’s success.
- Must have problem-solving skills.
