Discover the Role

Being part of TMF China Fund Services Department, the Manager assists the Head of Department to manage his/her team matters and ensures that all matters of client companies are properly handled as well as ensures excellent service to clients. The Manager engages with external as well as internal clients and is responsible for daily operations while being involved in business development activities.


Key Responsibilities
  • Manages a portfolio of clients for PE fund services (including fund accounting and investor services);
  • Maintains relationship with daily client contacts and their direct supervisors;
  • Reviews and ensures of deliverables to clients;
  • Reviews financial fluctuation analysis for key clients;
  • Liaises with auditors of clients;
  • Analyzes customer specific demands and provides value-added solutions;
  • Supervises and coaches team members;
  • Allocates engagements to team members based on their experience and competence;
  • Implements internal control procedures and trains team members;
  • Monitors productivity within the team and drives continuous improvement;
  • Assists Senior Manager / Director in business development;
  • Prepares proposals for new/existing clients;
  • Identify opportunities for cross-selling of TMF services;
  • Attend to new client enrollment;
  • Set up procedures and controls for new clients;
  • Responsible for correct issuance of fee note and timely collections;
  • Works with HR on recruitment activities, performance review and employee relations matters;
  • Attends seminars for networking and development purposes;
  • Lead and manages department projects;
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

 


Key requirements
  • Degree holder in Accountancy or business related discipline;
  • A minimum of 7 to 9 years relevant experience in Fund Administration firms or Fund management firm (operations or finance team), alternatively global audit firm with fund accounting experience would also be considered;
  • Sound knowledge of fund accounting/tax and banking procedures
  • Sound knowledge of off-shore and on-shore fund practices
  • Professional qualification holder and or Member of professional body preferred
  • People and team management experience;
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
