The CMS Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring the effective operation of the Capital Markets Services team. Reporting to the Supervisor Accounting, the CMS Coordinator is responsible for the operational management of a team of Accounting Officers to ensure that financial and administrative matters for Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs) involved in structured finance transactions—including cross-border leasing, repackaging, and CDO/CBO/CLO transactions—are handled in a compliant, timely, and professional manner.
- Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of a team of Accounting Officers to ensure the smooth functioning of financial and administrative processes.
- Assign and coordinate tasks among team members effectively.
- Ensure the accurate and timely completion of ESMA reporting requirements.
- Develop and maintain processes and controls for compliance with ESMA regulations.
- Provide guidance to team members on regulatory implications and foster best practices in reporting.
- Review and validate deliverables such as financial reports, correspondence, agreements, and statutory filings prepared by the team.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with clients, their advisors, and other relevant parties to support business growth.
- Represent the team in client-facing meetings and maintain a high level of service.
- Support the development of team members by providing training, mentoring, and performance feedback.
- Bachelor’s degree inAccounting, Finance, or a related field (e.g., SPD, HEAO AA); professional certifications such as ACCA, CPA, or ACA are a plus.
- A minimum of 4 years of relevant working experience in financial services, with exposure to structured finance transactions and SPVs.
- Solid knowledge of ESMA regulations, Dutch GAAP, IFRS, and familiarity with US GAAP is an advantage.
- Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills inEnglish;
- Proficient in financial software tools and MS Office suite.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities under strict deadlines.
