The Client Accountant will be responsible for managing a portfolio of accounting and tax clients in accordance with local legislation and internal regulations. This role requires delivering high-quality and timely services, ensuring compliance with TMF procedures and standards, and supporting junior colleagues in technical matters.

• End-to-End ownership of assigned clients
• Accounting entries
• Assures compliance to accounting principles
• Preparation of Tax return 
• Preparation of financial statements and ad hoc reports
• Support and manage clients and internal requests in a timely manner.
• Create transparency around financial and operational performance.
• Ensure financial statement integrity, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Maintain contact with auditors, tax advisors, lawyers, and other involved parties to obtain required information for reporting purposes.
• Ensure ongoing processes and deliverables provide high-quality accounting service to assigned portfolio of clients.

• Chartered Accountant (Qualified tax professional)
• Fluent in English both written and spoken
• Degree in Finance, or a comparable level achieved through exposure and experience 
• At least 4 years’ experience
• Excellent knowledge of TAX and other corporate taxation matters 
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of international financial reporting standards 
• Excellent knowledge of regulatory requirements for companies in Malta (Statutory deadlines, filing requirements etc.)
