The Commercial Execution team drives business growth by delivering high-quality support at every stage of the business development journey. The team executes commercial processes with efficiency and accuracy, enabling client-facing teams to build strong partnerships during new business development.
This position plays a key role in supporting Client Directors and Business Developers (Sellers) in managing the operational aspects of business development activities for various accounts throughout the revenue generation lifecycle. With knowledge of different stages of the sales process, the primary focus is to partner with Sellers as they navigate internal processes for complex, global opportunities through to contract sign-off and onboarding.
The Commercial Execution Specialist (CE) works closely with Sellers to support key commercial processes that contribute to a seamless client experience. Responsibilities throughout opportunity progression include supporting Deal Team validations, managing and reviewing CRM data, and ensuring compliance requirements are met in line with organisational standards. The CE contributes to the preparation of high-quality proposals, supports client readiness for contracting, and acts as a coordination point with internal teams for escalations. This position requires strong attention to detail, effective organisational skills, and the ability to collaborate across teams to support sales outcomes and client satisfaction.
The role reports to the Director of Commercial Execution and offers the opportunity to work in a modern, data-driven environment. This position provides development opportunities to build strong relationships with stakeholders across multiple teams. The CE is part of a process-focused team that enables Sellers to spend more time in value-added client-facing activities.
Partner with Sellers on global, complex opportunities to support progression through the commercial process, enabling client-facing roles to focus on the client. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Support opportunity qualification and Deal Team validation
- Maintain CRM opportunity data, including updating opportunities, values, go-live and close dates to support informed business decisions
- Provide input on pipeline health and quality to Sellers
- Support pre-contracting activities in collaboration with the Central Contracting Team (CCT), and act as an escalation contact for opportunities in progress
- Support parallel KYC and onboarding initiatives for selected deals
- Act as a subject matter resource for assigned topics to colleagues outside the team and provide mentorship within the team
- Provide actionable insights to support ongoing team development and process improvements
- 3+ years of relevant work experience, ideally in a multinational environment
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM is beneficial
- Experience in sales-related roles such as sales support, sales, or client management is beneficial
- Attention to commercial and financial detail
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Proficiency in spoken and written English; additional global languages are an advantage
- Demonstrates a proactive approach to self-development, continuously building skills and knowledge
