Discover the Role

A Senior Position with responsibility for all AML/CFT, Compliance, Risk, and Governance matters in TMF’s Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Qatar offices. The Compliance Manager will be responsible for supporting the above TMF offices to meet the Group’s expectation and regulatory standards, as well as lead local specifics required under the specific regulations and as driven by local business needs. 

The Compliance Manager will be required to provide advice and guidance to the Directors and staff of the business to ensure that policies and procedures are thoroughly understood and followed by the business. They will possess the ability to embrace and adapt to ever changing priorities, business needs and regulatory requirements.


Key Responsibilities

Compliance Framework & Regulatory Compliance

  • Develop and implement compliance policies, procedures, and a monitoring program covering FSRA, AML, CFT, and TFS.
  • Advise on regulatory changes, update manuals, and ensure best practices.
  • Provide regulatory guidance to the Board and senior management.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies, manage licenses, consents, filings, and notifications.
  • Deliver staff training on compliance and regulatory updates.
  • Review and approve marketing materials and client communications for compliance.
  • Maintain records on governance, compliance monitoring, regulatory returns, and correspondence.
  • Conduct compliance monitoring, surveillance checks, and report findings to the Board.
  • Develop a regulatory reporting calendar and ensure timely filings.
  • Present quarterly compliance updates to senior management.
  • Attend regulator-organized outreach sessions and trainings.

Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) Responsibilities

  • Develop, update, and enforce AML, CFT, and TFS policies per ADGM/DFSA rules.
  • Conduct client due diligence, risk assessments, and ongoing monitoring.
  • Oversee onboarding and due diligence processes in line with the firm’s risk-based approach.
  • Implement AML training programs and awareness measures.
  • File AML regulatory returns, including Annual AML and Semi-Annual MLRO Reports.
  • Participate in senior management discussions on AML and regulatory changes.
  • Respond to regulator requests, including TFS surveys and thematic reviews.
  • Investigate suspicious transactions and file SARs with the UAE FIU as required.
  • Maintain records of due diligence, reporting, and regulatory communications.
  • One-off or ongoing name screening services by TMF Group may incur additional fees.

 


Key Requirements
  • Qualifications in Compliance related fields
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
  • Preferably approved by a regulator
  • Excellent English, and preferably Arabic
