The Compliance Officer will report to appointed Senior Consultant & Director & Head of Regulated Services.
Act as Compliance Officer Support, and designated MLRO for DNFBP businesses for Regulated Services Portfolio;
• Conduct onboarding activities and deliver AML training to stakeholders;
• Provide on-going support, where applicable, with any on-going authorization projects being handled by the Regulated Services team, or any other duties currently being performed;
• Demonstrate understanding of appropriate AML/CFT, Compliance and Risk policies and procedures ensure that they are maintained in line with local regulatory requirements, as well as Group requirements and frameworks;
• Perform named screened of individuals, using tools such as World Check, where appropriate;
• Maintain constructive relationships with the respective regulators, auditors and other relevant institutions, where appropriate;
• Review regular reports on AML/CFT, Compliance, Risk work including information on regulatory changes; regulatory interaction; breaches, errors, omissions and complaints; progress in implementing recommendations arising from internal audits, external audits, regulatory visits and compliance monitoring activities; and items escalated to the MD, Governance Market Leader and Group Governance during the reporting period; and
• Act as designated Deputy MLRO, where appropriate
• ACAMS preferable, or comparable
• Experience of completing Regulatory interviews, or knowledge of local rules and regulations
• Provide back up support in translating Arabic documentation, sent by clients for KYC purposes (where applicable)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Fast Learner
• Ability to solve problems, and self-starter
• Strong collaboration skills (internal and external)
