Discover the Role

The Conducting Officer Compliance AIFM is responsible for the compliance matters and will report to the governing body. The Compliance Team is responsible for oversight activities for all respective business lines related to TMF Fund Management.


Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the compliance function of the Company 
  • Act as Conducting Officer in charge of Compliance, AML/CTF, Complaints Handling
  • Act as key point of contact with the CSSF for all compliance matters
  • Protect the integrity and reputation of the Company 
  • Manage a team of Compliance experts and develop a positive compliance culture
  • Work together with other members of the Compliance team both on the AML/KYC and the compliance topics applicable to the Company
  • Ensure that all compliance risks of the Company are properly defined, captured and monitored
  • Analysing the regulatory rules affecting the Company
  • Consistent review of the compliance policies and procedures required to comply with applicable laws and regulations
  • Prepare together with another member of the Compliance team all AML/CTF reporting required by the CSSF in a timely manner
  • Establish, implement, and maintain a compliance monitoring program adapted to the risks of the Company
  • Support on-site monitoring and testing on designated controls defined within the Compliance Monitoring Plan
  • Report and escalate of compliance risks as needed to the other Conducting Officers and to the Board
  • Process regular screening and maintenance of the client database against blacklists, international sanctions, press and escalate when relevant
  • Oversee Compliance projects 

 


Key Requirements
  • Master’s degree in Law, Finance or Economics
  • M1 and M2 Compliance certificates and / or CAMS certification is a plus
  • Has at least 7 years of relevant work experience preferably in a similar position within an AIFM or UCITS Management Company 
  • Have an excellent knowledge of Luxembourg regulatory environment for AIFMs or UCITs Management Company
  • Skilled in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint - knowledge of Refinitiv World-Check is a plus
  • Team player
  • Strong interpersonal skills and solution-oriented
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritize workloads
  • Fluent English and French, any other language is welcome. 
  • Ability to work independently and proactive “can-do” attitude, seeking out ways to improve quality of service to all stakeholders
