Corporate Accounting Responsibilities
- Financial Record Management
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions.
- Update general ledgers and ensure proper classification of entries.
- Reconcile bank statements and other financial documents.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments.
- Track receivables
- Maintain aging reports and resolve discrepancies.
- Financial Reporting
- Assist in preparing financial statements like:
- Balance Sheet
- Profit & Loss Statement
- Cash Flow Statement
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.
- Assist in preparing financial statements like:
- Compliance & Controls
- Ensure adherence to accounting standards (Ind AS/IFRS).
- Implement internal controls to prevent fraud and errors.
Taxation Responsibilities
- Tax Compliance
- Prepare and file returns for:
- GST
- TDS
- Income Tax
- Ensure timely payments and filings.
- Prepare and file returns for:
- Audit & Assessment Support
- Coordinate with statutory auditors and tax consultants.
- Prepare documentation for tax assessments and scrutiny.
- Respond to notices from tax authorities.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and tax laws.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP,).
- Communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
