Discover the Role

The role is responsible for handling endtoend corporate accounting and tax compliance activities, including daytoday bookkeeping, reconciliations, statutory filings, and audit support. The position requires a handson accounting professional with strong knowledge of Indian taxation and the ability to manage deliverables accurately within tight timelines.


Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate books of accounts, including daily accounting entries, ledgers, and reconciliations
  • Manage endtoend bookkeeping using accounting software (primarily Tally)
  • Perform bank reconciliations and review supporting financial documents
  • Handle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes, including invoice processing, payments, receivable tracking, and aging analysis
  • Assist in preparation of financial statements such as Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, and Cash Flow statements
  • Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules, documentation, and responses
  • Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards (Ind AS / IFRS, as applicable)
  • Manage tax compliance activities including preparation and filing of GST, TDS, and Income Tax returns
  • Coordinate with statutory auditors and tax consultants for audits, assessments, and filings
  • Prepare documentation for tax assessments and respond to notices from tax authorities
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls and timelines to prevent errors and compliance gaps

Key Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in corporate accounting and tax compliance
  • Strong handson experience in bookkeeping, reconciliations, and statutory compliance
  • Working knowledge of Indian taxation (GST, TDS, Income Tax)
  • Practical experience using Tally (mandatory); exposure to other accounting systems is an advantage
  • Good communication skills with the ability to coordinate with internal teams, auditors, and external consultants
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
