TMF Group Hong Kong is seeking a highly experienced, detail-oriented Finance Manager to lead the Hong Kong finance and accounting function. The role will be responsible for maintaining strong financial control, ensuring compliance with local statutory and tax requirements, supporting accurate and timely financial reporting, and working effectively with both internal stakeholders and the Shared Service Centre.

The successful candidate will report to the Market Finance Director and will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity of the Hong Kong books and records, supporting local compliance obligations, and driving finance process improvements. This position requires a strong accounting background, sound judgment, and the ability to independently manage Hong Kong taxation matters with the relevant local authorities.

• Lead and manage the Hong Kong finance and accounting function, ensuring strong financial control, compliance, and accurate reporting.
• Oversee the monthly closing process and ensure the timely and accurate completion of financial reporting.
• Manage key accounting processes, including P2P, O2C, and R2R, in close collaboration with the Shared Service Centre.
• Ensure compliance with Hong Kong statutory, tax, audit, and regulatory requirements.
• Serve as the primary contact for Hong Kong tax matters, including liaison with the local tax department and external advisors as required.
• Review tax filings, tax computations, audit schedules, reconciliations, and support documentation.
• Identify and implement opportunities for finance process improvement, control enhancement, and operational efficiency.
• Support internal and external audits, ensuring issues are addressed in a timely and well-documented manner.
• Provide guidance and oversight to local finance team members and coordinate day-to-day matters with SSC counterparts.
• Support ad hoc requests from the Market Finance Director and other internal stakeholders as required.

• Minimum 8–10 years of solid accounting and finance experience, including substantial experience in a Finance Manager or equivalent role.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of Hong Kong taxation, statutory compliance, and interaction with the local tax department.
• An accounting qualification is required, preferably HKICPA or ACCA.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial control, with IFRS knowledge preferred.
• Proven experience managing finance operations in a complex, fast-paced environment.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across finance, tax, audit, business, and shared service teams.
• Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Strong Excel skills: experience with ERP systems and finance tools is advantageous. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics is preferred.
• Fluent in English and Cantonese; Mandarin is an advantage.
