The Financial Services Business Analyst is a professional who plays a critical role in the growth and expansion of The Financial Services Business. They are responsible for identifying new business opportunities, analyzing market trends, and supporting strategic initiatives. They work closely with other departments and will support or lead specific projects. Requires attention to detail when making judgments and recommendations based on the analysis of information. Typically deals with variable issues with potentially broader business impact. Breaks down information in a systematic and communicable manner.
- Engage with key stakeholders (including existing and potential clients) to understand their needs and requirements.
- Work on specific projects to include Lift Out, Carve Out and other new business projects predominantly in the Fund Services space.
- Gather, review, and analyze business and industry data, including key performance indicators (KPIs), financial reports, and other metrics. Translate data into insights supporting new business initiatives and/or service improvement. Communicate effectively to business partners and senior leaders all findings.
- Participate with global teams evaluating processes and making suggestions for process and system improvements.
- Create and maintain documentation regarding various projects, processes, client use cases and operations. This includes client presentation and training materials.
- Act as a bridge between different business departments and groups to ensure smooth communication and collaboration.
- Create reports, dashboards, and visualizations to help stakeholders. understand business performance and support new business initiatives.
- Strong ability to analyze data and identify trends.
- Proficient in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with stakeholders and team members.
- Ability to think critically and solve complex business problems.
- Proficiency in data analytics.
