Discover the Role
TMF Group is currently seeking a Tax Manager to join its team, responsible for leading tax compliance processes, reviewing tax returns, and ensuring accuracy across calculations and supporting documentation. The role also has a strong commercial component, focused on identifying new business opportunities, expanding client relationships, and promoting tax services. This position requires proven leadership skills to manage and develop teams, along with excellent communication and negotiation abilities to interact with clients and international stakeholders. Advanced English proficiency is essential for client-facing activities and reviewing technical documentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee tax compliance operations, including the review of tax returns and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of tax calculations.
  • Manage and coordinate the preparation of supporting tax work and documentation, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.
  • Drive commercial initiatives by identifying new client opportunities and expanding the portfolio of tax services.
  • Build, maintain, and strengthen client relationships to support business growth and retention.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop team members, fostering a high-performance and collaborative environment.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for clients and international stakeholders, ensuring clear and effective communication.
  • Lead negotiations and provide strategic guidance on complex tax matters.
  • Proactively identify risks and resolve tax and operational challenges through sound judgment and problem-solving.

Key Requirements
  • Experience in tax compliance, including reviewing and managing tax return processes.
  • Strong commercial acumen with a proven track record in business development and client relationship management.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, including team management and talent development.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Advanced negotiation and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Fluency in English, with the ability to engage with international clients and review technical tax documentation.
