This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced bilingual Payroll manager to lead our entire HR&Payroll operations in Japan! You will take initiatives in spearheading our Japan payroll operations, managing 3 teams (Tokyo, Fukuoka, Chengdu), and delivering excellent services to our current and prospective clients.
n Act as Head of Division in business development.
n Identify opportunities for cross-selling of TMF services.
n Prepare proposals for new/existing clients.
n Analyze customer specific demands and translation into customer specific solutions.
n Maximize customer satisfaction by providing effective client support.
n Maintain relationship with daily client contact and their direct supervisors.
n Review deliverables to clients.
n Perform regional coordination work, review local countries’ deliverables and liaise with all stakeholders to resolve issues.
n Liaise with auditors of clients.
n In-house advisor for all engagements with payroll issues, especially on local law & regulations compliance.
n Supervise and coach team members.
n Allocate engagements to subordinates based on their experience and competence.
n Implement internal control procedures and train team members.
n Managing the productivity and utilization of the staff in the team.
n Work with HR on recruitment activities, performance review and employee relations matters.
n Responsible for preparing/reviewing invoices and collections.
n Attend seminars for networking and development purpose.
n Perform other duties as assigned.
n University graduate in Finance/Accounting or HRM;
n A minimum of 8 years solid hands-on experience in payroll, ORSO, MPF, salaries tax and well versed in related legislation;
n Experience in Asia Pacific regional payroll will be an advantage;
n Experience in professional service firm with strong client servicing skills preferred;
n Pro-active with a can-do attitude;
n A team player with good communication skill;
