Key Responsibilities

A. HRP Leadership & Delivery Excellence

  • Lead end-to-end delivery across Payroll Processing, HR Administration, Labour Compliance, and Client Delivery with a focus on scalability and efficiency.
  • Drive operational excellence, accuracy, and turnaround time across payroll and HR services.
  • Partner with RDC Operations to ensure cost-effective, high-quality backend delivery models.
  • Continuously improve processes through automation, standardization, and digital transformation initiatives.

B. Client Engagement & Relationship Management

  • Act as a trusted advisor to CXOs and CHROs, delivering strategic HR insights and solutions.
  • Build and expand long-term client relationships, driving retention, wallet share, and satisfaction.
  • Proactively identify growth opportunities within existing accounts and lead client expansion initiatives.
  • Represent the organization across industry forums, leadership platforms, and CHRO networks to strengthen brand visibility.

C. Commercial Ownership & Business Growth

  • Own and drive the P&L for the HRP business, with clear accountability for revenue growth and profitability.
  • Develop and execute growth strategies to expand the HRP footprint across geographies and sectors.
  • Lead commercial negotiations, pricing strategy, and deal structuring with clients.
  • Identify new market opportunities and build go-to-market strategies to acquire new clients.
  • Drive operational efficiencies and cost optimization to enhance margins and business sustainability.

D. HR Administration & Compliance Governance

  • Oversee HR Admin operations including onboarding, documentation, employee lifecycle support, and compliance frameworks.
  • Ensure adherence to all labour laws, statutory regulations, and audit requirements.
  • Manage complex compliance scenarios, including labour court matters and regulatory escalations.
  • Build a robust governance framework that strengthens client trust and minimizes risk.

E. Strategic Leadership & Capability Building

  • Partner with leadership to align HRP with overall business strategy and growth agenda.
  • Build and lead high-performing, client-centric teams with strong delivery ownership.
  • Drive a culture of innovation, accountability, and customer excellence.
  • Lead transformation initiatives to modernize HRP offerings and enhance competitive positioning.

Key Requirements

Essential Requirements

  • Senior HR leader (CHRO / HR Head / Business HR Leader) with strong exposure to HR operations, payroll, and client delivery.
  • Proven commercial acumen with direct experience managing revenue, P&L, or business growth initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage and influence CXO-level stakeholders globally.
  • Strong domain expertise in Payroll, HR Processes, Labour Laws, and Compliance frameworks.
  • Established network within the CHRO and senior HR ecosystem in India.
  • Experience in client-facing environments such as consulting, HR services, or managed services.


Preferred Skills & Qualities

  • Growth-oriented mindset with a track record of scaling business lines or services.
  • Strong capability in business development, client acquisition, and account expansion.
  • Excellent negotiation, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to operate in fast-paced, complex, multi-geography delivery environments.
  • Experience in building scalable HRP or shared services models.


Education & Experience

  • Postgraduate degree in HR / Business Management / Labour Relations (preferred).
  • 15+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, including payroll and client delivery exposure.
  • Prior experience in commercially accountable roles (e.g., CHRO, HR Head, Business HR Leader, or Consulting Leader).
