This approach enhances TMF’s global service offering to both prospective and existing clients, supporting seamless migrations and ongoing integration for a wide range of enterprise systems, including HR and Payroll, GEM, Financial, and accounting platforms, all while prioritising client engagement throughout the integration process.

This position requires a professional experienced in architecting Systems Integration and to play a significant role in supporting our Digital and Client Platforms and Operations Technology team in offering and delivering a wide range of options to meet the ever-changing requirements in the global technology solutions landscape.


Key Responsibilities
  • Provide professional support and input into delivering TMF's Integration Service offering to prospective local and regional clients and guidance into the best fit to meet a client's specific requirements in collaboration with Global Solutions and Onboarding teams. 
  • Support the roll-out of TMF's new integrations patterns including new features and functionality.
  • Undertake periodic reviews of solution optimisation, document process improvements and work with IT Services to roadmap the improvements.
  • Ensure integrations are maintained to manage ongoing country deviations/HRIS functionality enhancements.
  • To take responsibility for the ongoing development of multi practice integration solutions and effectively manage the liaison with internal stakeholders including Sales, Bid Support, Global Solutions and Client Onboarding Teams.
  • Supports complex client technology transformation projects including leading the business requirement gathering and ownership of blueprinting phase.
  • Become technical SME on all global TMF integration solutions.
  • Help create and share up-to-date pattern documentation and internal communications about HRP Integration progress, including possible training or webinars.
  • Support Global Solutions Team in pre-sales activities where required including presentations on technical solutions to both new and existing clients.
  • Share Knowledge & contribute to internal discussion forums with initiatives aimed at improving and promoting both the way TMF structures its Integration global offerings and the related global on-boarding process.
  • Ability to manage/collaborate with both internal stakeholders and external Strategic Technology Partners to drive change in an international matrix environment.
  • Experience of business requirements gathering.
  • Confident communicator with good presentation skills who can articulate and demonstrate the benefits of the TMF integration proposition to both clients and TMF local offices.
  • Works in a consultative way with colleagues with varying levels of technical understanding to achieve goals while ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Able to work remotely under a hybrid environment.
  • Able to Travel as required.
  • Broad knowledge of both business and information technology enablers and constraints


Technical Skills

Core Architecture Expertise


  • 8–12 years of experience designing enterprise-grade, cloud-native integration architectures across distributed systems.
  • Deep knowledge of microservices design, API gateway patterns, event-driven orchestration, and asynchronous messaging.
  • Expert in SOA-to-API modernization, multi-tenant integration frameworks, and security architecture (OAuth2.0, OpenID Connect, mutual TLS, PGP encryption).
  • Proficiency in designing scalable and resilient topologies using Azure, MuleSoft, and API-led connectivity principles.


Integration & Middleware Expertise

  • Proven experience designing and implementing REST, SOAP, and GraphQL APIs along with SFTP and event-streaming (Kafka/Event Hub) integrations.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with API lifecycle management (design, publish, monitor, and version control).
  • Proficiency in reusable API frameworks, schema mapping, and message transformation (JSON, XML, XSLT, CSV).
  • Hands-on development with MuleSoft DataWeave, Azure Logic Apps, and Python or Node.js for integration scripting.
  • Implementation of integration logging, observability, and alerting using Azure Application Insights, ELK Stack, or Splunk.
  • Data Integration & ETL Expertise
  • Expertise in real-time and batch ETL pipeline design using Azure Data Factory, Talend, or Informatica.
  • Design and implementation of synchronization frameworks for large HR and payroll datasets.
  • Strong understanding of data staging, validation, and transformation for inbound and outbound integrations.
  • Proficiency in SQL optimization, Azure Synapse, and data lake-based architecture for secure data exchange.


Domain Expertise – HR & Payroll Integrations

  • In-depth understanding of Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, and PeopleSoft integration models.
  • Expertise with Workday GPC (Global Payroll Connect) modules such as DCoD, APD, ExPR, ExPD, and GPH is a plus.
  • Experience designing and implementing HR-to-Payroll-to-GL integration flows ensuring compliance with multi-country regulations.
  • Ability to build reusable templates and mapping frameworks to accelerate country onboarding.


Azure Cloud Expertise

  • Proficiency in Azure Integration Services – Function Apps, Logic Apps, Service Bus, Event Hub, API Management, and Key Vault.
  • Hands-on experience deploying integration workloads on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and automating CI/CD with Azure DevOps.
  • Experience implementing infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using Terraform or Bicep templates.
  • Knowledge of cost optimization, API throttling, and performance tuning within Azure environments.


MuleSoft Expertise

  • Advanced development experience in Mule 4 runtime, Anypoint Studio, and Anypoint Exchange.
  • Expert in designing API-led architecture following System, Process, and Experience layer segregation.
  • Strong hands-on with DataWeave, RAML specifications, and custom connector development.
  • Proficiency integrating Workday connectors, SFTP endpoints, and external REST/SOAP APIs using MuleSoft connectors.


Security & Compliance

  • Expertise securing data in transit and at rest using PGP encryption, TLS/SSL, and managed identities.
  • Deep understanding of GDPR, SOC 2, and ISO 27001 compliance requirements for payroll data.
  • Ability to implement API throttling, access control, and encryption mechanisms for secure data flows.


Agile Delivery & Leadership

  • Strong background in Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies, sprint planning, and iterative release cycles.
  • Experience developing detailed Integration Design Documents (IDDs), Service Description Documents (SSDs), and deployment plans.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and mentor developers, ensuring quality and adherence to architectural standards.
  • Tooling & DevOps Familiarity
  • Expertise in CI/CD pipeline setup using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
  • Experience with version control, automated deployments, and testing frameworks for APIs and integration components.
  • Proficient with tools like Postman, SwaggerHub, SonarQube, and New Relic for design validation and monitoring.

 

 

Project Management

 

  • Support relevant global, regional and/or local project plans to manage interdependencies; aligning with Clients and internal stakeholders to ensure dates are achievable 
  • Support resolution of architecture roadblocks.
  • Attend and provide all required Project updates, providing the most up-to-date and correct details to ensure accurate forecasting.
  • Monitor the project/s assigned, ensuring issues are resolved in a timely manner and the appropriate corrective actions are implemented, escalating appropriately where required
  • Support Lessons Learned where appropriate and share with relevant stakeholders.
  • Team player, support development of more junior team members through delivering constructive feedback and support as needed.
  • Attend required internal and external meetings.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with both clients and TMF local delivery teams throughout the Implementation phase

Key Requirements
  • At least 8 years of experience working on integrations with Enterprise systems. Previous experience with HCM is a plus. 
  • As this is a client-facing role, presentation skills and background in working with functional and technical stakeholders are a must.
  • Knowledge of standard payroll processes an advantage. 
  • Methodical and consultative approach in supporting or clients and local teams.
  • Experience and understanding of commercial contracts and SOW's and delivering global transformation projects in line with the obligations therein.
