Discover the Role

You will be responsible for making discretionary investment management decisions for TMF-FMI (TMF Fund Management (Ireland). Working closely with our existing team of Investment Managers, you will be involved in delivering regulated Investment Management/Portfolio Management functions, including working with the wider AIFM team of TMF-FMI and you will also work closely with investment advisors, and fund promoters and other service providers . You will deliver flawless service to existing clients and contribute to new business development, pitching and the on-boarding of new clients.


Key Responsibilities
  • Acting as investment manager and making discretionary investment management decisions for funds under management of TMF-FMI;
  • Evaluation of investment recommendations from Investment Advisors;
  • Approval of Fund Business Plans;
  • Preparation and analysis of financial appraisals;
  • Ensuring implementation of fund objectives;
  • Monitoring performance of the fund and delegates, in line with Fund documentation;
  • Preparation and delivery of reports to Fund boards;
  • Assisting in research and report preparation;
  • Participating in Internal, external and Client presentations;
  • Liaising with the AIFM Team in relation to Central Bank of Ireland queries and other regulation requirements;
  • Participating and assisting in preparation for new business pitch meetings;
  • Seeking and evaluating opportunities to broaden assets under management within TMF Fund Management;
  • Validating and authorizing payments and the execution of documents;
  • Review/approval of NAV reporting and financial statements;
  • Facilitation of regulatory reporting as required (e.g. sustainability reporting and EMIR);
  • Maintaining appropriate records of investment due diligence, approvals and transactions in line with regulatory requirements;
  • Ad hoc projects as they arise.

Key requirements
  • Primary Degree specializing in Business / Finance / Real Estate / Economics;
  • Experience in investment management/asset management/commercial transactional experience, financial analysis/banking/corporate finance/commercial or residential Real Estate;
  • A dynamic and self-motivated individual who takes responsibility for their actions and pride in their work;
  • A solutions focused team player with a strong sense of professionalism and enthusiasm;
  • Excellent knowledge of the English language is mandatory;
  • Keen interest in developing investment management career managing regulated Irish funds;
  • Proficiency in MS Office including Excel, Word and PowerPoint;
  • Awareness of AIFMD and Regulated Fund Structures (knowledge of same would be considered as an advantage);
  • Executes business strategy ensuring sustainable and profitable results.
