Discover the Role

You’ll be the go-to expert for clients on financial, accounting, and tax matters, working closely with a Legal Officer to manage relationships and ensure compliance. This role is all about building long-term partnerships and helping clients navigate a complex, ever-changing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build strong relationships with clients, advisors, banks, and regulatory bodies.
  • Provide comprehensive financial and administrative support, ensuring compliance with local regulations and client timelines.
  • Manage accounting processes: set up systems, post journal entries, prepare statutory and client-specific reports.
  • Handle cash management, bank accounts, payment instructions, and reporting to authorities.
  • Coordinate audits and liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and legal partners.
  • Monitor compliance, identify issues, and contribute to solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records, client data, and ensure timely invoicing and debt collection.
  • Act as a gatekeeper for financial compliance and support special projects as needed.

Key Requirements
  • A financial or administrative degree such as ACCA, CPA, ACA, or a Bachelor’s in Accounting, Business Economics, or a similar field – or equivalent experience.
  • At least 3–5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, including Dutch GAAP, IFRS, and ideally US GAAP.
  • Solid understanding of finance, accounting, and cost control principles.
  • Familiarity with systems such as SAP, CaseWare, and Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Excellent written and spoken English; fluency in Dutch language skills is a must.
  • Genuine interest in international financial markets and financial instruments.
