Key Responsibilities

As a Junior Accounting Officer, you will assist a global team of experienced accounting experts to handle the financial reporting requirements for a portfolio of clients. Your key tasks will include:

  • Assist with preparing SPV related financial reports such as ESMA Article 7 reports, PFIC statements and periodic investor reporting.
  • Support the setup and maintenance of SPV financial databases.
  • Review, test, and reconcile the work and data received from third parties.
  • Prepare bookkeeping accounting entries and trial balances.
  • Prepare audit trails including all supporting documents and reconciliations.
  • Manage large volumes of communication making sure the flow of information remains open throughout the reporting process.
  • Maintain contact and liaise with investment managers, collateral administrators, and other parties in order to obtain the information required for reporting purposes.


Key Requirements

  • You hold a degree in accounting / finance or a similar field.
  • 2 to 3 years relevant practical experience.
  • You are organised, methodical, and detail orientated.
  • You have a sense of professional scepticism and can apply critical thinking.
  • You can work with large data sets in a fast-paced environment, adhering to strict deadlines.
  • You have strong communication skills and are fluent in English.
