Discover the Role
This Junior Developer role is ideal for someone with up to 2 years of experience who wants to build strong skills in SQL, databases, and data analytics. You will support database development, write/optimize SQL queries, assist in data operations, and work with BI tools like Power BI and Qlik Sense, while learning from senior developers and analysts.

Key Responsibilities

Database & SQL Tasks

  • Write SQL queries and perform CRUD operations.
  • Assist with developing and optimizing SQL databases.
  • Contribute to database architecture and data warehousing tasks.
  • Ensure data security by managing user permissions and protecting sensitive information.
  • Work on performance optimization of database systems.

Troubleshooting & Maintenance

  • Help identify, troubleshoot, and resolve database issues.
  • Support smooth functioning of database systems.

Collaboration & Support

  • Work closely with other developers, analysts, and stakeholders.
  • Provide basic technical assistance or training to end‑users on tools like Power BI / Qlik Sense.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align data analytics solutions with business needs.

Analytics & BI Tools

  • Work on analytical tools such as Power BI or Qlik Sense to support data visualization initiatives.

Key Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Data Science, or a related field.
  • 0–2 years of experience (internships, academic projects, or personal projects are accepted).

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in SQL for querying and data manipulation.
  • Familiarity with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
  • Basic knowledge of programming (Python or JavaScript is a plus).
  • Exposure to BI tools like Power BI, Qlik Sense, or similar.
  • Knowledge of:
    • SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
    • SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS)
    • Transparent Data Encryption (TDE)
    • NoSQL/NewSQL databases
    • Handling large Excel datasets

Soft Skills

  • Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
  • Good communication (written & verbal).
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Good time‑management and multitasking capabilities.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Proactive approach to challenges.
