Katowice is also the location for our second structure - the Regional Delivery Center, whose task is to serve the European markets of our clients, companies from the Fortune 500 and FTSE 100 rankings. As part of the structures, we are looking for specialists in the field of international accounting & tax, human resources and payroll, and global entity management. We also build teams that will be responsible for handling international funds and supporting internal financial processes of the TMF Group.
The Junior Tax Compliance Officer is responsible to timely prepare VAT returns, European Sales Lists, participate to the VAT registration process of corporations with a close cooperation with senior VAT officers/VAT supervisor. From time to time, you might have direct communication with clients and VAT authorities.
- Prepare timely monthly, quarterly, annual VAT returns;
- Participate to the VAT registration and deregistration processes (corporations);
- On an irregular basis, liaise with the tax authorities, external advisors and clients;
- Discuss VAT issues and/or technical matters with Senior VAT Compliance Officer / VAT supervisor;
- Execute all the necessary actions to have TMF Group and clients perform according to Compliance and VAT regulations;
- Take ownership of own development by following required and relevant trainings.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or tax;
- Great organizational skills and team spirit;
- Excellent English written and good verbal communication is required. Knowledge of German or French would be an advantage;
- Good IT skills and excellent command of MS Office (Excel) are important;
- 1-2 years’ working experience in accounting or/and (European) VAT compliance (in an accounting or tax advisory firm with international environment) will be an additional advantage.
