Discover the Role

The Legal Assistant will support the team in a variety of administrative and operational tasks related to the lifecycle of corporate entities. This includes assisting with the preparation of official documents, maintaining internal records, supporting compliance processes, and liaising with external authorities. The position provides exposure to the day-to-day workings of corporate governance and offers a solid foundation for developing professional skills in a corporate services setting.


Key Responsibilities
  • Performs a wide variety of admin assignments within the legal department and their respective team.
  • Assists with the following tasks assists with a variety of activities for the corporate maintenance of the client company; updates and/or prepare official documents, such as deeds, contracts, minutes, certificates, tax registrations. Assists with the incorporation of companies and/or shelf companies; assists with invoicing, handing over of companies’ files, etc. Compliance process, banking set-ups
  • Resolves routine administrative tasks. Assists TL and AM within their team.
  • Establishes, maintains, processes and updates files, records, certificates, and/or other documents. 
  • Preparation and filing of all forms to comply/communicate local authorities the corporate/tax information.
  • Updates Minutes Book, Shareholders Register and Compliance forms. Keeps the compliance files of the clients of the team duly updated.
  • Scans, copies and files any and all kinds of documents.
  • Tasks out of the offices goes to the notary offices, banks and different authorities’ offices to collect and submit documents and all kinds of forms.
  • Prepares cover letters, final letters. Arranges for couriers.
  • Correspondence
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties, as assigned.



Key Requirements
  • No experience is required (knowledge of corporate law, compliance, privacy and GDPR, notarial and registrations law is desirable.)
  • Bachelor of Law from reputable Portuguese University      
  • Level of English – fluent
  • MS Office
