The role is fixed term (1 year duration with a possibility of extension).
Legal Advisory & Contracting
- Draft, review and negotiate Local Services Agreements, Statements of Work, lease contracts, intercompany agreements, supplier and procurement contracts in accordance with TMF Group templates, policies and guidelines.
- Provide day-to-day legal advice to local management and business teams on commercial, corporate and regulatory matters.
- Support amendments, terminations and contract lifecycle management, escalating higher-risk issues where required.
- Monitor legal and regulatory developments relevant to the Market and assess potential business impact.
Claims, Disputes & Risk Management
- Support claims, disputes and litigation matters, including coordination with external counsel under supervision of the Market Head of Legal.
- Support identification and mitigation of legal risks in cooperation with Risk & Compliance teams.
- Support remediation of internal audit findings and implementation of corrective actions.
Corporate Housekeeping & Governance
- Support corporate housekeeping activities for Market legal entities, including maintenance of corporate records and registers.
- Assist with corporate changes, restructurings and governance-related matters.
- Liaise with notaries, external advisers, banks, Chambers of Commerce and authorities as required.
Data Privacy & Compliance
- Support implementation of TMF Group data protection framework, including DPAs and SCCs.
- Assist with data protection incidents, data subject requests, RoPAs and DPIAs in coordination with Group Privacy and Risk & Compliance teams.
Stakeholder & Project Support
- Maintain effective relationships with Market and Global Legal stakeholders.
- Support Market and Group Legal projects and process improvement initiatives.
- Provide legal training and guidance to business teams where required.
- Degree in Law or equivalent legal qualification.
- 3–4 years of legal experience in a law firm and/or in-house environment.
- Experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts.
- Knowledge of commercial and corporate law.
- Understanding of GDPR and data protection requirements.
- Experience in legal risk assessment and issue resolution.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Fluent English (written and spoken).
- Experience working in a multinational environment is an advantage.
