Discover the Role

As a Legal Officer, you will support the legal team in managing corporate secretarial matters for client companies, ensuring compliance with Belgian legislation and TMF Group procedures. You will liaise with clients, banks, notaries and advisors, and help maintain client files in good legal standing.

You’ll join a collaborative team of around 10 professionals working on real estate, capital markets and fund services.


Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with day-to-day legal and corporate tasks (incorporations, liquidations, shareholder and board meetings, share transfers).
  • Prepare and organize legal documents, registrations (Commercial Court, UBO register) and filings.
  • Act as a point of contact for clients and external parties (banks, notaries, advisors).
  • Draft and review standard legal documentation.
  • Maintain client portfolio compliance and update records.
  • Support projects related to legislative changes and internal procedures.

Key Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Law or Rechtspraktijk (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience.
  • Dutch and English Fluent;
  • Strong organizational skills, eye for detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proactive, service-minded and a team player who can work independently.
  • Good communication skills and ability to build relationships.
  • Integrity and commercial awareness.
