Market Financial Controller is part of the Internal finance and Group Finance Control team, responsible for the monthly review of the market financials in accordance with local GAAP, IFRS and TMF Group policy and the preparation of the Statutory Annual Accounts. You will work closely with Group Controller and Market Finance Director to perform review of monthly reporting and connect with our contacts in TMF offices across the market, to ensure accuracy and completeness of reporting.
- Review, assess and enable the adoption of accounting standards such as local GAAP and International Accounting Standards.
- Oversee accounting operations, review accuracy and completeness of revenue and costs, as well as analysis of balance sheet positions, specific to the market.
- Ensure presence of an effective control, policy compliance and verification of financial statements.
- To prepare statutory financial statements and monitor the local statutory audit and tax deadlines and to ensure timely submission.
- To ensure that an effective risk management process and a sound control environment exists in the countries and ensure compliance at all time.
- To streamline the org. structure, which might involve entities liquidation or amalgamation.
- Certified accountant (e.g., CPA, ACCA, etc.)
- At least 5 years of experience in financial reporting, tax planning, and compliance with IFRS and local GAAP
- Strong knowledge of financial systems (e.g., MS D365, OneStream).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Possess good working attitude, interpersonal and leadership skills.
