Discover the Role

The OPTIX Client Migration Lead will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing client migrations from legacy systems to the OPTIX platform. This role ensures seamless data transfer, system integration, and minimal disruption to client operations while maintaining high standards of data integrity and compliance.


Key Responsibilities
  • Migration Planning: Develop and oversee end-to-end migration plans, timelines, and resource allocation. Identify risks and create mitigation strategies for migration activities.
  • Data Management: Oversee data extraction, cleansing, transformation, and validation processes. Ensure compliance with data governance and security standards (e.g., GDPR).
  • Client Engagement: Act as the primary point of escalation for clients during migration. Communicate migration progress, issues, and resolutions clearly and professionally.
  • Testing & Quality Assurance: Oversee pre- and post-migration testing to ensure data accuracy and system functionality. Sign off migration outcomes and provide detailed reports.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify process improvements and automation opportunities for future migrations.

Key Requirements
  • Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of data migration methodologies and tools. 
  • Project Management: Experience managing complex migration projects with multiple stakeholders. Familiarity with Agile or Waterfall methodologies.
  • Communication & Leadership: Excellent client-facing communication skills. Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage competing priorities.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Ability to troubleshoot migration issues quickly and effectively.
  • Experience: Previous experience in system migrations, preferably in HR or financial platforms. Knowledge of middleware or workflow automation tools is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or Payroll related certifications and experience.
  • Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2) is desirable.
