We are seeking a Payroll Accountant to manage payroll delivery for a portfolio of international clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in payroll processing and a good understanding of accounting principles. The role requires accuracy, professionalism, and the ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
- Prepare, maintain, and update client payroll files and documentation.
- Process weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls accurately and within agreed timelines.
- Handle statutory filings, remittances, and payments in line with local requirements.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, employment regulations, and data‑protection guidelines.
- Monitor payroll deadlines and deliver assigned tasks on time.
- Support client invoicing and assist with onboarding activities for new clients.
- Participate in payroll‑related projects as required.
- Provide administrative and operational support to the payroll team.
- Attend client meetings when needed and maintain high service standards.
- Perform any additional tasks related to payroll operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Accounting, or a related field
- (Accounting background preferred)
- Up to 2 years of experience in payroll within international companies or professional services firms
- Strong knowledge of payroll concepts and basic accounting principles
- Good proficiency in Excel (mandatory)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Good communication and stakeholder‑management skills
- Ability to handle confidential information responsibly
