Discover the Role

As the Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for the timely and correct handling of matters concerning the day-to-day payroll, including correspondence with the assigned clients. In this job your main goal will be to ensure that TMF’s clients in Romania are provided with efficient, professional, and high-quality services which meet all statutory obligations across payroll.


Key Responsibilities
  • Accurate payroll calculation for the clients in the provided payroll system/program
  • Preparation of monthly salary calculation and related documents for a given portfolio of clients;
  • Responsible for entering input data in payroll system for assigned customers (e.g. employee timesheets; rest leave, medical leave and other types of leave, basic salary, increases, other changes)
  • Completing payments for allocated clients;
  • Filling in medical certificates and preparing FNUASS files;
  • Preparation of output reports (meal voucher order, payroll sheet, statutory and statistical reports)
  • Configurations and updates in system according to instructions provided by supervisors;
  • Preparation of employees’ certificates;
  • Preparation of individual employment contracts, addendums to the contracts, decisions, termination documents;
  • Electronic register of employees (REVISAL) verification and transmission.

Key Requirements

The successful candidate is analytical and methodical with experience in end-to-end payroll cycle. Possesses knowledge of payroll regulations coupled with strong communication abilities. Integrity, team spirit and strong organizational skills are highly valued attributes.

  • At least 3 years of relevant payroll experience;
  • Proficiency in MS Office (particularly MS Excel) is compulsory;
  • Ability to work independently and as a part of a team;
  • Analytical and systematical approach to work;
  • Great proficiency in adhering to timelines;
  • Diligence in performing work;
  • Very good command of Romanian and English (both verbal and written)
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance or related field;
