Discover the Role

This is a senior role within the HR & Payroll structure with significant overlap into:

• Professional oversight and expertise in payroll processes
• Technical configuration of payroll solutions
• Leadership of people and projects
• Active representation of the company towards clients


When required, you will act as a deputy to the Head of HR & Payroll. 


Key Responsibilities
  • Full responsibility for end‑to‑end payroll process and supervision of the payroll agenda for assigned clients
  • Professional leadership and development of a small team of junior and senior payroll specialists, including monitoring efficiency, productivity, and KPI adherence;
  • Ensuring payroll processes comply with Slovak legislation and implementing required changes into practice;
  • Active participation in onboarding new clients (setting up payroll systems, processes, and local/global tools);
  • Technical configuration of payroll solutions, including allocation logic, GL files, and payroll data outputs;
  • Collaboration on local and global projects and their implementation;
  • Daily communication with clients and local/global teams (primarily in English);
  • Cooperation with the legal department, local authorities, auditors, and tax advisors;
  • Responsibility for high‑quality service delivery, meeting deadlines, and professional representation of TMF.

Key Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in end-to-end payroll process in a senior or managerial role;
  • Excellent knowledge of Slovak payroll and labor legislation;
  • Experience in leading people, supporting their professional growth, and motivating teams;
  • Strong technical skills – payroll systems, process setup, working with payroll data and outputs;
  • Basic knowledge of payroll allocation into GL;
  • Advanced English (B2/C1) – daily communication;
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills;
  • Independence, responsibility, precision, and a proactive approach to problem‑solving.
