Discover the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented, thorough, and organized Purchasing Expert to join our growing team.

The Purchasing Expert will report directly to the Purchase to Pay Lead and work closely to perform various administrative and clerical tasks, help in managing the company’s supply of products and services, and assist in maintaining good relationships with suppliers.

The Purchasing Assistant should be able to work autonomously and efficiently to ensure the smooth running of purchasing functions.


At this role you will have possibility to hybrid, occasionally visiting office in Katowice.


Key Responsibilities

 Assisting the Purchasing Manager or similar role, with daily duties and responsibilities including:

  • Assisting in the development of purchase orders and sending them to suppliers
  • Monitoring and tracking supplier deliveries to ensure timely receipt of goods or services
  • Maintaining accurate records of all procurement-related activities
  • Communicating with suppliers regarding pricing, product availability, and delivery schedules
  • Assisting with the resolution of invoice discrepancies and disputes
  • Helping to ensure compliance with all company procurement policies and procedures
  • Preparing and maintaining purchasing reports for review by management

Key Requirements
  • University Degree, preferably in Finance, Accounting or Economics
  • Experience in similar position (purchasing/procurement/AP/P2P/GL)
  •  Previous experience with development of Purchase Orders 
  • Good command of English (both verbal and written), 
  • Knowledge of accounting rules, 
  • MS Office knowledge, 
  • Strong attention to details and analytical skills, 
  • Good communication and team work skills,
  • Proactive attitude and orientation on problem solving
