TMF is hiring an Assistant Manager for KR RDC in China
- Handle full set of accounts and bank operations for clients. Assists to manage daily work with high complexity, including closing full set of books, PRC compliance documents, monthly and annual financial statements, tax returns with tax computations, and other tailor made management reports/ financial analysis;
- Maintains relationship with clients and internal/external stakeholders, including banks, auditors, tax bureau and other government departments on client company’s affairs, accounts, bank accounts, tax filing, etc.;
- Query management with internal and external 3rd party stakeholders;
- Assist Manager in preparing proposal for clients;
- Assists Manager in preparing internal documents for new client enrolment;
- Assists Manager in accounting/tax set up procedure of new client enrolment;
- Supervises Senior Accountants, Accountants and Junior Accountants, and reviews draft deliverables;
- Monitors progress of the service delivery and follow up outstanding regular matters with client’s contact;
- Assists Manager/Senior Manager to oversee daily operations of the Accounting department and to implement internal control procedures;
- Assists Manager/Senior Manager to train & coach junior staff;
- Responsible for correct issuance of fee note and timely collections;
- Prepares and checks various reports as requested by clients;
- Capable of working without close supervision to ensure client deliverables are met.
- Able to work effectively across various levels of seniority, with clients as well as internal stakeholders in various geographies.
- Able to communicate open items, issues and deadlines clearly and in a timely manner.
- Disciplined and rigorous mindset, with a high sense of urgency and high work ethic
- Comfortable working within a diverse culture and across geographies
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and under pressure.
- Good organization skills, with an attention to detail, but can also work in ambiguous situations.
- Competent self-starter and quick learner, exploiting multiple learning options and resources.
- Positive attitude, self-confident and self-motivated, with altruistic tendencies.
- Experience in working with multi-countries and managing the global deliverables in BPO/SSC/ Centralized delivery model.
- 3-5 years’ work experience in client servicing roles
- Experience in payroll management is an advantage but not critical
