Discover the Role

The role involves leading and overseeing the accurate and timely management of general accounting and reporting processes, including journal entries, accrual calculations, and allocations. You will ensure proper reconciliation of reports and accounts, drive monthly closing activities, and maintain strict compliance with local accounting standards. Acting as the primary point of contact for local offices and internal stakeholders, you will foster team productivity, promote continuous improvement, and provide mentorship to create a collaborative, high-performance environment.


Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee the timely and accurate management of general accounting and reporting processes, including journal entries, accrual calculations, and allocations.
  • Ensure proper reconciliation of reports and accounts, using advanced techniques to identify and resolve discrepancies.
  • Manage monthly closing activities and lead balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring deadlines and accuracy standards are met.
  • Ensure compliance with local accounting standards, policies, and procedures, while guiding and supporting junior team members in their implementation.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for coordination with local offices and internal stakeholders.
  • Drive team productivity and accuracy by setting and achieving performance metrics, actively contributing to team goals.
  • Identify opportunities for optimization and share best practices across the team.
  • Provide mentorship and support to team members, fostering collaboration and a high-performance work environment.

Key Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in BPO, SSC, or centralized delivery models.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Accounting.
  • Proficiency in accurate reconciliation of reports and accounts.
  • Advanced proficiency in Office 365 and ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, and preferably Dynamics.
  • Strong service-oriented attitude, with the ability to execute tasks efficiently and communicate procedures and solutions effectively to stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of proactivity, engagement, and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Continuous improvement mindset and process orientation, combined with a solution-focused approach.
  • Excellent English skills (B1), both written and spoken, to enable effective communication across diverse teams and stakeholders (writing and reading skills are essential, speaking is not mandatory).
