TMF Singapore is looking for a Assistant Relationship Manager - Private Wealth and Family Offices to join the team!
1. Realize new client relationships
- Ensure prompt and smooth communications with intermediaries such as lawyers, private bankers, tax advisors and other jurisdictions’ TMF colleagues as the subject matter expert to ensure that pipeline is realized as much as possible
- Upkeep and enhancement of marketing materials specific for the Singapore PWFO business, while keeping in alignment with other PWFO offices.
- Prepare, attend and present to prospects and new intermediaries, follow-up on opportunities, provide fee quotes, prepare and finalize formal fee proposals, etc.
- Maintain list of intermediaries and pipeline, including keeping CRM, D365 and ViewPoint updated.
- Take the lead for the Singapore PWFO business in marketing events such as sponsorship booth as the annual Asia STEP Conference, annual TMF PWFO Networking Drinks and reception, and any other events that may be co-organized with the TMF Global Sales Team.
- Work with other PWFO offices where they are trustees, and we are administrator, to ensure that inter-office relationships and work processes are efficient.
2. Establishment of trusts
- Establish new trusts including the setting up of trust underlying companies, open bank accounts, receive trust assets, as required, to completion, before handing over to Trust Relationship Managers for ongoing administration.
- Work with Compliance as second line of defense to ensure that KYC and due diligence requirements are in good order.
- Prepare all documents necessary for Business Acceptance Committee (“BAC”) including presentation, drafting and finalizing the minutes of the BAC meeting.
- Relevant degree in business, accounting, law or finance.
- At least 8 years of Trust Administration experience in Singapore licensed trust companies.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Open-minded, patient and adaptable to a growing business with evolving strategy and plans
- Diploma and/or certification in International Trust Management and Trust Administration would be an advantage.
- Periodic travelling within the Market is expected.
- Written and spoken proficiency in Mandarin would be an advantage.
- FATCA/CRS knowledge and filings would be an advantage.
