Assists the Fund Services team in daily deliverables and to provide quality service to clients. The Senior Associate provides support to the Fund Services Executives and by preparing medium complexity client deliverables
- Prepare timely and accurate Net Asset Values (NAVs), yields, distributions, and other fund accounting outputs in line with established timelines and standards for subsequent review.
- Record all accounting entries accurately—including securities positions, corporate actions, and journal entries—while ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures.
- Reconcile various accounts or review reconciliations prepared by others, ensuring any variances are promptly investigated, resolved, and documented.
- Identify exceptions or issues impacting accounting records or pricing, communicate them to management, and assist in resolving them effectively.
- Handle and respond to client queries in a professional and timely manner.
- Participate in the rotation of daily trade processing and other accounting tasks to ensure the fund accounting system is fully prepared for next-day operations.
- Prepare month-end, semi-annual, and quarterly reports for clients and submit them in accordance with the Service Level Agreement (SLA).
- Diploma or Degree in Accountancy or a related business discipline, with a professional accounting certification preferred.
- 2–3 years of experience in closed‑ended funds within a fund administration firm, or experience in an audit firm handling closed‑ended fund clients.
- Strong understanding of international and local accounting standards and practices.
- Intermediate-level Excel skills, including the ability to work with formulas, spreadsheets, and data analysis tools.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
