Katowice is also the location for our new structure - the Regional Delivery Center, whose task is to serve the European markets of our clients, companies from the Fortune 500 and FTSE 100 rankings. As part of the structures, we are looking for specialists in the field of international accounting & tax, human resources and payroll, and global entity management. We also build teams that will be responsible for handling international funds and supporting internal financial processes of the TMF Group.
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior CDD Compliance Officer to lead and oversee a small team (3-4 people) for an assigned Market for KYC operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory and organizational standards, as well as coordinating the review of data collection and KYC assessment of all clients to which TMF provides services to in the respective Market.
This role requires exceptional process management and people management skills, with a strong focus on team leadership, client interaction, and operational excellence. The job holder will report to the GCC Supervisor for the respective Region.
- Oversight & Execution:
- Oversee the KYC process for the respective Market to ensure accurate and timely compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Liaise with the Team Lead for group screening activities for the assigned region for those activities relating to onboarding and ongoing monitoring for investors, M&A and for new and existing clients in the assigned Market to identify and mitigate potential risks effectively.
- Team Leadership & Development:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, based in the European region with a focus for supporting the respective Market, fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture, with a focus particularly on ensuring their team applies a risk-based approach when undertaking Customer Due Diligence.
- Allocate resources effectively to manage workload, address backlog responsibilities, and prioritize tasks efficiently.
- · Provide guidance and sign-off on complex cases.
- Escalation Management & Client Interaction:
- Serve as the day-to-day escalation point for business-related issues concerning Customer Due Diligence (CDD) processes.
- Interact directly with clients and internal stakeholders to address concerns, resolve escalations, and maintain strong working relationships.
- · Liaise with subject matter experts (SMEs) and internal departments to resolve complex issues and provide expert-level support.
- Process Improvement & Compliance:
- Identify opportunities to enhance KYC processes and implement best practices to optimize efficiency and accuracy.
- Ensure all KYC-related activities adhere to relevant regulations and standards while minimizing operational risks.
- To participate in discussions with internal stakeholders like Group Internal Audit, as well as to support other stakeholders, such as local offices, should there be any audit relating to KYC/CDD matters.
- University degree proffered
- Proven experience in KYC, CDD, or related compliance roles, with a track record of leadership.
- Strong process management skills, with the ability to design and implement efficient workflows.
- Excellent people management and team leadership skills, including mentoring and conflict resolution.
- In-depth knowledge of KYC regulations, client screening processes, and risk assessment methodologies.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
