Key Responsibilities
  • Ensuring the firm’s liquidity, capital resources and capital requirements are compliant with all regulatory requirements.
  • Ensuring any financial breach is immediately reported to the Regulator and SEO (and ensure matter is placed on record in the Company breach register, maintained by CO/MLRO).
  • Coordination / follow up with the firm’s accountant regarding the monthly management accounts for FO’s review.
  • Ensure timely review of the firm’s financials and report to SEO of any changes (if required).
  • Ensure the frequency of FO’s review includes monthly management accounts, along with quarterly and annual EPRS returns preparation and submission to the Regulator (FSRA).
  • Assistance in completion of annual financial audits of the firm (if required).
  • FO will report to the SEO on a bi-weekly or case-by-case basis* (*subject to the firm’s requirements).
  • FO will report to the Board on a quarterly basis to present management accounts (if required).

Key Requirements
  • Prior experience of being an Authorised / Approved Finance Officer for either a DIFC or ADGM regulated entity;
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics or a related field;
  • Proven experience in a finance role with proven track record in financial reporting and analysis and budgeting;
  • In-depth understanding of financial regulations and accounting principles;
  • Familiarity with tax laws and corporate finance;
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills;
  • Excellent attention to details and accuracy;
  • Good organizational and time management skills;
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software;
