Discover the Role

The Senior Fund Accountant is responsible for the calculation and production of accurate NAVs. Additionally, in this position you will be reviewing payment instructions, regulatory reportings for non-complex funds


Key Responsibilities
  • Calculation and production of accurate NAVs of the various alternative investment funds (private equity, real estate, debt / loans, other alternatives).
  • Processing transactions in the fund accounting system for complex funds: asset deals, security pricing, foreign exchange spot and forward rates calculations as well as calculation of the fees, cash and securities reconciliation. Preparation of financial statements.
  • Depending on the level of experience, review of basic tasks (payment instructions, regulatory reporting) for non-complex funds.
  • Understanding and developing the existing relationships with Service Providers such as custodian, brokers, managers and auditors.
     Liaising with auditors for year-end review.
  • Other ad-hoc duties related to domiciliation and corporate secretarial tasks

Key Requirements
  • 4-5 years’ experience in Fund accounting (Alternative Funds, Private Equity, Real Estate)
  • Strong technical knowledge in accounting, ideally in the Fund industry for Alternative Investments (Private Debt / Loan Funds / PE / RE)
  • Accounting experience in private debt and loan funds is considered an advantage
  • Understanding of a payment process
  • University degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Excellent communication skills in English (fluency in French or German is an asset)
  • MS Excel proficiency
