Discover the Role

Are you passionate about compliance, risk management, and making a real impact across borders? TMF Group is looking for a Senior Risk and Compliance Officer to support our operations across the Northern Europe market, with a focus on strengthening compliance frameworks and governance across multiple jurisdictions.

 

In this role, you’ll be responsible for monitoring compliance with TMF Group policies and local legislation, supporting key risk areas such as Know Your Customer/Customer Due Diligence, fiduciary frameworks, payments control, and regulatory reporting. You’ll work closely with legal and business teams to ensure robust governance and internal controls across the region


Key Responsibilities
  • Manage compliance and risk frameworks across the Northern Europe market.
  • Implement and maintain local compliance policies in line with global standards and local regulations.
  • Conduct compliance monitoring, track findings, and oversee remediation plans.
  • Monitor key compliance indicators (e.g., Know Your Customer/Customer Due Diligence backlog, high-risk mandates, audit findings).
  • Develop training materials and promote a strong risk culture across the organization.
  • Provide guidance to client servicing teams on compliance matters.
  • Prepare internal compliance reports and escalate risks as needed.
  • Participate in meetings with global teams, clients, and regulators.
  • Support risk assessments and contribute to regional compliance initiatives.

Key Requirements
  • 3–5 years of experience in compliance, risk management, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of compliance frameworks and regulatory environments.
  • Experience with Know Your Customer/Customer Due Diligence processes and control testing.
  • Knowledge of risk management and project management principles.
  • Ability to prioritize, manage stakeholders, and work independently.
  • Team player with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and fluent English.
  • University degree in law, finance, or a related discipline.
