The Global L3 DBA Support Team is a critical part of the enterprise database infrastructure, providing advanced technical expertise and strategic support for business-critical applications across the globe. The team acts as the final escalation point for complex database issues, leads architectural improvements, and drives automation and optimization initiatives across SQL Server environments and related technologies.

• Lead resolution of complex incidents, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and Problem Management in SQL Server environments.
• Design and implement High Availability (HA), Disaster Recovery (DR), and performance tuning strategies.
• Define standards, best practices, and architecture guidelines in collaboration with Architecture and Engineering teams.
• Automate tasks and operational workflows using PowerShell, T‑SQL, and related tools.
• Mentor and support engineers, promoting operational excellence.
• Conduct capacity planning, audits, and compliance activities.
• Plan, approve, and execute changes and upgrades across global SQL Server estates.
• Lead proactive monitoring, alerting, health checks, and continuous improvement through trend analysis and baselining.
• Manage backup/restore strategies, security models, and patching processes.

• 5+ years as a DBA with SQL Server, including performance tuning and advanced troubleshooting.
• Experience with Windows Server, PowerShell/T‑SQL, SSRS/SSIS.
• Knowledge of Azure SQL, DevOps, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL/MariaDB, and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis, Cassandra).
• Fluent in English (C1), both written and spoken.
• Strong technical leadership and problem-solving skills.
