We’re looking for a highly skilled Depositary expert who can confidently oversee the work of a multi person team, reviewing their control checklists while also providing daily regulatory and operational guidance to ensure processes are executed accurately and in full compliance. In this senior role, you’ll act as a trusted point of escalation, applying deep knowledge of fund structures, transactions, and oversight obligations to maintain exceptional standards across all depositary activities.

• Review and provide guidance related to checklists covering all core depositary activities, including cash flow monitoring, oversight, and safekeeping. Ensure these activities are performed by officers in accordance with applicable regulations
• Analysis of complex asset transactions in real estate, private equity, debt and trade financing from a legal and ownership perspective
• Coordinate the review of fund documents (Prospectus, Service Agreement etc.) to ensure alignment with depositary duties
• Review and validate the Depositary Control Reports (KPIs)
• Provide daily support to the team by answering operational and regulatory questions related to fund structures, transactions, and depositary oversight duties
• Support audits and regulatory inspections by providing requested documentation and control evidence
• Review and analyze investor transactions (subscriptions and redemptions) and distributions to be Fund and Alternative Investment Fund Managers Directive (AIFMD) compliant
• Assist in client meetings and on-site visits

• Minimum 3 years of solid practical experience in Depositary area – must have requirement
• Fluency in English (spoken and written); other languages are an advantage
• Degree in Financial Services, Law, Accounting or a related field might be beneficial, however, substantial and practical experience in Depositary operations is essential
• Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast paced environment
• High attention to detail combined with the ability to work under time pressure while maintaining accuracy
• Strong communication and coaching skills, with the ability to support, guide, and upskill team members in day to day tasks
• Proactive, positive, and results-driven approach.
