We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Recruiting Intern to join our Talent Acquisition team. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the recruitment process and learn about human resources from the ground up. You will work closely with our recruiters and hiring managers, contributing to the sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding of new talent.
As a Talent Acquisition Intern you will be able to help source and attract top talent to TMF Group, focusing primarily on hiring in South Africa, with support for other countries if needed. In this role, you will contribute to building our employer brand in the market and play a key role in sourcing the best candidates.
- Identify potential candidates using advanced Boolean searches, social and professional networks, CV databases, candidate referrals, web sourcing, and internal Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
- Source and present top talent for specific roles or as part of wider strategic pipelining projects.
- Build and maintain robust talent pools of passive candidates, ensuring alignment with business unit needs and staying updated on market trends and analysis.
- Conduct initial candidate assessments, including resume reviews and phone screenings, to evaluate skills, experience, and alignment with position requirements.
- Establish and nurture strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, fostering collaboration throughout the recruitment process.
- Represent the company and its opportunities in a professional, engaging, and structured manner.
- Oversee recruitment administrative tasks, including updating ATS records and maintaining accurate spreadsheet reports.
- Strong interest in talent acquisition and recruitment
- Excellent research and sourcing skills, with attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Fluency in English, knowledge of an additional language would be a plus.
- Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with Applicant Tracking System (ATS) is a plus.
