Tax Compliance Specialist keeps the entities in EMEA compliant with local tax law, ensures that tax policies and processes are followed, identifies tax risks (and opportunities) and monitors changes in tax laws. The tax compliance specialist forms part of the Group Tax team and works closely with the Internal Finance team.
- Assists with CIT, indirect tax, WHT, TP, and other local tax compliance and reporting obligations.
- Contributes to the tax-related elements of the new ERP system implementation.
- Participates in the quarterly tax provisioning process and the annual return‑to‑provision calculation.
- Helps estimate tax payments for the cash flow forecast.
- Ensures adherence to tax policies and the correct application of standard tax procedures.
- Identifies tax risks and opportunities, and helps in developing mitigation actions.
- Takes part in handling tax audits and enquiries from local tax authorities.
- Monitors legislative changes and ensures their proper implementation
- Master or Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Tax
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with at least 1 year of experience in tax advisory or compliance
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Knowledge of (tax) accounting principles
- Knowledge of financial systems
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
- Takes ownership and accountability for tasks and deliverables.
- Demonstrates a hands‑on, proactive approach when solving problems and supporting the team.
