Discover the Role
The Test Analyst supports quality assurance activities across TMF Group’s Digital Client Platform, with a primary focus on end‑to‑end testing for global payroll country setups. The role involves executing functional and integration tests across multiple systems, supporting UAT activities, and ensuring systems and data flows meet business and compliance requirements. Working under the guidance of senior QA members, the role contributes to delivering reliable, high‑quality digital solutions for TMF’s global clients.

Test Planning & Preparation

  • Support the creation and review of test plans, scenarios, and cases based on documented requirements
  • Maintain test documentation under guidance from senior analysts
  • Assist with test data preparation, collection, and validation
  • Participate in test kick‑off sessions and readiness activities

Test Execution

  • Execute assigned test cases accurately and within agreed timelines
  • Perform functional, integration, regression, and end‑to‑end testing
  • Validate country setups, client environments, and system configurations
  • Execute test steps for user profile setup and access validation

Defect Management

  • Log defects clearly with evidence and reproduction steps
  • Re‑test fixed defects and update defect status accordingly
  • Escalate blockers or risks to Senior Test Analysts or the Test Lead

Collaboration & Communication

  • Work closely with QA team members, developers, product, and implementation teams
  • Provide regular updates on test progress, risks, and challenges
  • Participate in test review meetings and sign‑off activities

Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate test cases, execution results, and defect logs
  • Use test management tools such as Azure DevOps effectively
  • Contribute to reusable test assets, templates, and reports

Quality & Standards

  • Follow established testing standards, frameworks, and best practices
  • Ensure adherence to TMF methodologies, documentation, and timelines
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the QA workstream

Key Requirements

Key Requirements

  • 2–3 years of experience in software testing, QA, or a related field, or strong academic exposure with relevant internship or placement experience
  • Basic understanding of software testing life cycle (STLC), test design techniques, defect lifecycle, and test documentation
  • Hands-on or practical exposure to functional, integration, regression, and end‑to‑end testing
  • Familiarity with test management tools such as Azure DevOps or similar platforms
  • Working knowledge or exposure to enterprise systems (Payroll, HR, Accounting, Financial systems) is an advantage
  • Experience or interest in automation or performance testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JMeter) is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality delivery
  • Good communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work in a multicultural, global environment
  • Willingness to learn, take guidance, and grow within the QA domain
  • Ability to follow structured processes, meet deadlines, and manage assigned tasks effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams)
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Technology, or equivalent
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken); additional languages are beneficial
  • ISTQB Foundation Level certification (preferred or willingness to obtain)
