Discover the Role

Transaction Manager role primarily reviews all SPV transaction documentation to mitigate risk to TMF and its directors. You will also work with the wider Capital Markets team to ensure that all contractual obligations are fully achieved and that all transactions are completed in a timely and efficient manner by liaising with clients, legal advisors, trustees, account banks and other 3rd parties who are involved in the setting up, arranging and overseeing of capital markets transactions.


The role forms part of a dedicated client services team responsible for maintaining the highest corporate administration services to a wide range of SPV transactions.


Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee successful execution of all end-to-end SPV transaction services for TMF’s clients, ensuring setups are completed in a timely and accurate manner;
  • Manage the delivery of work on the portfolio to ensure the right level of quality and timeliness;
  • Handle the full set of operational processes for clients including being operationally responsible for client documentation and out of scope work;
  • Provide management, supervision, training and guidance to junior team members focusing on task performance;
  • Give practical assistance, guidance, support and input to other junior team members as required;
  • Assist with implementation of changes to procedures, guidelines, process as needed due to any internal or external changes;
  • Manage, build and develop strong relationships with clients and external transaction parties as assigned within the portfolio, building a first-rate professional relationship with assigned clients acting as a principal point of contact;
  • Day to day supervision and management of a portfolio of clients;
  • Keep up to date on changes in the legislation, regulation and best practice;
  • Maintain expert knowledge of all relevant portfolios and deal related documentation;
  • Responsible for the accurate record keeping and execution of SPV activities;
  • Review of transaction documentation at the deal set up stage and for transaction obligations after the closing of a transaction, establish necessary procedures for on-going management of the transaction;
  • Deal with amendment/waiver/consent requests from the clients;
  • Recognize the strategic importance of revenue, profitability, chargeability and the client relationship and effectively apply this understanding to daily tasks.

Key requirements
  • Minimum 3 years experience working in legal or capital markets role (experience with a corporate services provider would be preferable but not essential);
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills;
  • Ability to cope with a busy workload and to agree and meet appropriate deadlines;
  • Detail focused;
  • Ability to prioritize effectively;
  • Work effectively as part of a team and project manage deliverables across teams;
  • Good risk awareness;
  • Drive continual improvement through attending seminars, keeping up-to-date with changes to relevant legislation, and provide guidance and training to junior team members;
  • Use knowledge and experience to foresee potential issues and problem-solve for these.
