We are searching for a candidate for a junior role. They will be responsible for the preparation and quality checking of VAT claims and will act as the primary day-to-day contact to colleagues within the team for the provision of our services and will be expected to meet stakeholders’ and client expectations. Since this is an entry-level position, full training is provided.

- Build a first-rate professional relationship with assigned clients acting as contact, if need be;
- Engage in review and analysis of client data or assist with the automation thereof;
- Identify claimable purchase, travel expense and import invoices;
- Process client information from purchase, travel expense and import invoices;
- Maintain company databases using specific software;
- Perform invoice assessment with the aim of identifying incorrectly charged VAT and non-compliant invoices, as well as prepare internal invoice assessment reports;
- Liaise with clients’ suppliers to obtain compliant final invoices;
- Ensure quality control of all client data prior to submission;
- Ensure the completion and submission of VAT claims and any other requests from Tax Authorities;
- Ensure that Tax Authority and team deadlines are met;
- Prepare internal and external reports, as well as return documents to clients;
- Foster good relationships among team members;
- Assist and support training of new VAT Recovery Processors;
- Identify out-of-scope services and provide information to team managers.
Ideally, you are meeting following hiring criteria:
- Fluent in both written and spoken English (and preferably a second language);
- Bachelor degree holder;
- Good attention to detail;
- Excellent written and communication skills, with strong ability to plan ahead and organise;
- Analytically structured mind set with ability to follow and build upon existing processes and ensure data is maintained with accuracy and consistency;
- Good knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Outlook;
