As part of the structures, we are looking for specialists in the field of international accounting & tax, human resources and payroll, and global entity management. We also build teams that will be responsible for handling international funds and supporting internal financial processes of the TMF Group.

The Client Accountant role supports more complex tasks in the daily bookkeeping procedures and is responsible for posting transactions in Accounting system, which do not require Senior level supervision. The role holder will review drafts prepared by Assistants and Administrators, suggesting amendments as required. The role holder will be also required to prepare management accounts, financial statements and filings (like CBI and tax filings) under review and supervision of their team’s supervisor and/or manager.  This position is for the Funds team focused on Private Capital structures (in particular Real Estate). It is an area experiencing significant growth in TMF, thus providing an opportunity for great career development.

At this role you will have possibility to work remotely or hybrid from the office in Katowice.

• Preparation and review of financial reports;
• Posting of all business transactions in the general ledger and subledger;
• Processing Property accounts prepared by the Property Manager (validating, uploading);
• Preferably end to end booking (AP, AR, GL), but covering AP part and payments management will also suit
• Responsibility for the timely preparation of the monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports according to HGB, IFRS or US GAAP in close cooperation with the team management and the team;
• Creation of ad hoc reports;
• Communicating with customers, accountants, banks, auditors, lawyers, investment managers or other parties;
• Monitoring of payment transactions.

• Knowledge/experience in SPV accounting in Real Estate or related fields (such as private) is a must;
• Fluent English and Polish;
• German B1 or willingness to learn this language with the provision to achieve at least A2 level within 12 months;
• University degree in finance/accounting or comparable training in accounting preferred;
• At least 3 years of practical work experience, ideally with an international audit or similar;
• Knowledge of IFRS or US GAAP or HGB;
• Good knowledge of MS Office;
• Strong affinity for numbers;
